The E. Bourassa & Sons story began in 1924 in Radville SK. Emile Bourassa started the business as a coal and wood store later selling Massey Harris, John Deere and Oliver Cockshutt farm equipment. Times were not always good and the business had to adapt in many different ways to meet the customer’s needs. The last 93 years have seen many changes and have shaped the business we see today.
Fast forward to 2018, E. Bourassa & Sons now has 5 stores and is a main line New Holland dealer in Southern Saskatchewan. While many aspects of the business may have changed, the one thing that remains the same is that the business has always and still is owned by the Bourassa family.
E. Bourassa & Sons has 5 locations covering a large portion of Southern Saskatchewan. With stores in Assiniboia, Pangman, Radville, Weyburn and Estevan and always expanding. Estevan’s store will be closing in 2018, and a new store will be opening in Carlyle, Sask.
The young, dynamic and progressive partners of E. Bourassa & Sons are the great-grandchildren of Emile Bourassa. With a focus on customer service, all 4 partners actively work in the dealership where the values passed down from past generations are as important today as they were almost 100 years ago.
