The two-row Bourgault 3820 ParaLink Coulter Drill™ provides outstanding seed placement, long-lasting components on a heavy, durable frame, and features the ParaLink Row™ coulter opener, which can accommodate both planting and seeding!
Efficiency & Durability
A Choice for Every ProducerExpect the highest degree of durability with a robust frame construction that makes competitors green with envy.
The ParaLink Row™ Opener (PLR™) provides two very distinct advantages in today's coulter drill market.
The Hi-Flotation™ Option
Expand Your Seeding WindowThe HF™ option allows you to get into the field sooner, providing your crop with an early start. In addition, HF™ provides you with confidence when traversing challenging or restrictive terrain such as soft and narrow roads.
Air Planter™ ConfigurationThe PLR™ Opener is designed to work in conjunction with the optional positive pressure Air Planter™ System. The same opener is also compatible with the proven PDM Pro™ Metering Auger and air kit to provide accurate and consistent seed placement for cereals, pulses and oil seed crops.
Volumetric ConfigurationWhen operating as a traditional air coulter drill, product from the air kit exits the seeder boot and is directed to the bottom of the furrow with a plastic seed retainer, eliminating the opportunity for seed bounce. The seed is then pressed into the seedbed by the firming wheel, ensuring excellent seed-to-soil contact.
MRB® Fertilizer Application System
Optimal Seed-To-Fertilizer PlacementMid Row Banders® Fertilizer Applicators achieve the best possible returns by placing your nitrogen fertilizer in the optimal location when one-pass seeding. The MRB® ID provides independent depth placement of fertilizer, regardless of terrain or frame height adjustments.
PowerPlus™ Option
Independent Electrical SupplyThe new PowerPlus™ option provides independent electrical supply to the air seeding system, eliminating the need for a high current harness back to the tractor. PowerPlus combines an alternator, battery, and hydraulic motor powered by a dedicated hydraulic circuit, and is sized appropriately to minimize hydraulic requirements yet provide full electrical needs of a drill and air cart.
