Tech Talk: New Holland MyShed App

In a world where there is an “app for everything”, it is no surprise that New Holland has launched several in the past few years. Of all the New Holland apps available, MyShed is the most useful and the best addition to your phone or tablet.  It is a platform that allows users to look up parts for any New Holland machine, create a parts list and email the parts list to their nearest E. Bourassa & Sons Parts Department. Once the email is received on our end, our Parts staff look up your parts and call you with pricing and availability.  The app includes detailed parts drawings and breakdowns of each machine area and component making it a great resource for your repair jobs as well.

While this app does not replace phoning in for unit down, emergency parts, it definitely does serve a purpose.  Where I see it shining is for non-urgent needs such as stocking your shop for the upcoming season or getting ready for a large repair job.  It is easily accessible from any smartphone or tablet, is very easy to use and allows you to look up parts when and where you want.  From the cab of your tractor to the chair in your living room, you now have a parts counter at your fingertips. 

There are many other useful parts of this app as well including sprayer nozzle charts and machine fluid information.  For anyone using skid steer loaders, there is a MyYard version for New Holland Construction equipment.

The app is available on both Apple and Android devices so give it a try and see if it can make your life a little easier.
